Fuel Traveller – Mobile Fuel Trailer for On-Site Refuelling
When fuel distribution needs to be brought directly to the point of use, a mobile fuel trailer provides a flexible and safe solution. TankkiTuomiset Oy’s trailer-mounted IBC fuel units, available in capacities of 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, and 3,000 litres, are designed for professional use.
This solution is particularly suitable for applications where fuel must be temporarily stored, transported, and dispensed between different locations. A mobile refuelling station reduces unnecessary travel, improves worksite efficiency, and provides better control over fuel management.
The Fuel Traveller trailer can be configured to meet the customer’s specific requirements as a braked single-, twin-, or triple-axle trailer, individually approved for road use. The trailer chassis is manufactured from aluminium, and the equipment and accessories are specified in close cooperation with the customer. All trailers are manufactured at the Traveller trailer factory in Pomarkku, Finland.
The trailer-mounted IBC tank is made from durable structural steel, providing a long service life even in demanding operating conditions. The tank is equipped with internal baffle plates to minimize fuel movement during transport, improving both safety and handling. The tank can also be removed from the trailer and used as a standalone IBC unit, offering additional flexibility for storage or stationary applications.
The tank system is type-approved and complies with UN 1203 classification requirements as well as regulations governing the handling of hazardous chemicals. This makes the Fuel Traveller a safe and reliable solution for construction sites, depots, emergency preparedness applications, and other environments where fuels, diesel oil, or other flammable liquids are stored and handled.
