Yrityksemme on sitoutunut vähentämään toimintamme ympäristövaikutuksia ja kehittämään tuotantoa ympäristön kannalta kestävällä tavalla. Olemme luoneet seuraavat periaatteet parantaaksemme ympäristön kestävyyttä omalla toiminnallamme:
- We monitor energy consumption and continuously strive to optimize the use of heating oil, electricity, and fuel in our production processes and facility heating systems.

- We reuse packaging materials whenever feasible. We also aim to minimize the packaging of our products whenever additional packaging is not necessary.
History
During the 1960s, the company expanded its operations to include the manufacture of steel tanks for residential heating oil storage and machine refuelling. Farm tanks and tanks for flammable liquids have remained the company’s core products ever since. The traditional farm tank used for refuelling agricultural machinery continues to be one of the company’s most important and recognized tank models.
Today, the company manufactures approximately 200–400 oil tanks annually, still utilizing, in part, machinery and production methods originally developed by Lauri Tuominen. For example, an old rolling machine designed by Lauri Tuominen has been used to manufacture the shell sections of approximately 100,000 tanks over the years.
In recent years, the company has made significant investments in the production of farm tanks and fuel storage tanks, as well as in solutions for emergency preparedness and the defence sector. Production facilities and equipment have been extensively modernized to meet current industry requirements. The company’s newest product lines include transport tanks and potable water tanks.
During 2023, the entire fuel tank manufacturing business was transferred to TankkiTuomiset Oy from Tuomisen Sepänliike Ky, further strengthening the company’s position as a specialist manufacturer of fuel storage and handling solutions.
